Congrats to our 2011 winner
15 year old Trevor May won 2nd Annual Illinois Talent Competition. Trevor sang "Fire Flies" and wowed the audience and judges. Eighteen hopefuls competed for the title.
Trevor May is currently attending East Richland High School and resides in Dundas, IL. He has been under the direction of Ruth Henry since age 7 for voice and piano and has always had a passion for singing, acting, and set design. He landed his first musical production role at age 8 as the mayor munchkin, in the musical "Wizard of Oz". He has also had roles such as Kurt, in the "Sound of Music", Children's Choir captain, in the musical "Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat", Tom, in "Camelot", John, in the musical "Peter Pan", Director Belling, in the production of "Curtains", the Candy Man in "Willy Wonka" this past March, and Melvin, in the community musical "Love! At the Café!" at Olney Central College July 2010
Trevor is also very involved in his School and community being active in groups such as FFA, 4-H, PILOTS, Dundas Ruritan, Jazz band, Concert Band, Marching Band, Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, Mt. Gilead Church Praise band, and Community Band. He was also a student director and sound and light technician for East Richland Middle school talent show and production of "After Hours". Recently, Trevor has entertained at the Illinois State FFA, the Miss Illinois Pageant and various local events. Currently Trevor is the host of the "Pinch of Clover" 4-H radio show that can be heard on the local radio station Freedom 92.9 Saturday mornings at 7:00am.

The Illinois Scholarship Association and Dolphin Entertainment, one of the world's leading producers of children's and young adult programming, are scouting the entire state of Illinois for talented individuals and group acts for our inaugural Illinois' Talent Competition.
On May 29-30 On Memorial Day Weekend in May 2011 at the Hoogland Center for the Arts in Springfield, the Illinois Scholarship Association in conjunction with Dolphin Entertainment will host its 3rd annual Illinois' Talent Competition. Talents of all kinds are invited to audition! Individuals and groups are welcome ... vocalists, dancers, baton twirlers, magicians, comedians, musicians, monologues, etc. The stage is set and waiting for you!!! Don’t miss your opportunity to perform before a panel of judges and to prove that you have what it takes to be the inaugural Illinois' Talent Competition Winner!
The Illinois Talent Competition will feature the best and brightest talent in the state - male or female, youth or adult, solo acts or group acts - who will compete for a prize package that includes a $500 Cash Prize.

2011 Entry fees are as follows:
Individual Acts - $75
Duets (two performers) - $100
Groups (three or more performers) - $200
