Prior to requesting scholarships won at the local, state or national levels, please review the Miss Illinois Scholarship Rules that were signed as a part of the Miss Illinois paperwork prior to state competition. Contestants should try to submit their scholarship requests at the beginning of a semester (preferably August and January) in order for the money to be paid out in a timely manner. Waiting until mid semester is not recommended.
Please claim your local scholarship before applying for the scholarships won at the state competition. You will need a letter from your local director stating you have exhausted all funds at the local level.
Once all local scholarships are collected, to claim state scholarship awards please fill out the following JotForm. Include all appropriate documents to claim your scholarship.

The winner will be contacted by The Community Foundation of Wabash County. The foundation will provide instructions for how to request that scholarship, but please remember that if your college/university requires that a specific form be sent along with the payment, the contestant is responsible for providing that form to The Community Foundation of Wabash County along with your scholarship request paperwork.
