Local Competitions

Open Competition: You must be a resident, full-time employee, or full-time student at a college or university in Illinois.

Closed Competition: You must be a resident of the specified area, full-time employee in the specified area, or full-time student in a college or university located in the specified area.

College Competition: You must be a full-time student at the listed college or university.

To compete in the Miss Illinois Scholarship Competition, you first must compete and be awarded a local title at one of the many local competitions. There are many opportunities to compete in the official preliminaries for the 2026 Miss Illinois Scholarship Competition.
